STRATEGY

We focused on updating the look and functionality of the bathroom while preserving the character and architectural heritage of the home. We were inspired by the timeless elegance of older homes and worked to ensure that every material and detail felt appropriate to the period, yet fresh.

EXECUTION

Driven by a commitment to thoughtful design and lasting craftsmanship. The original shower arch was meticulously retained, anchoring the room with a sense of history and continuity. Custom millwork and trim profiles were designed to blend seamlessly with the home’s existing architectural language. A walk-in shower was constructed using timeless stone tile with a soft, natural texture that adds warmth and depth. Every element—from lighting to hardware to styling—was selected to create a space that feels intentional, enduring, and entirely at home within this historic residence.

SCOPE

This renovation called for a complete transformation of the existing bathroom. The project involved a full gut down to the studs, with all plumbing and electrical replaced. The original bathtub was removed to create space for a walk-in shower, and all finishes were updated. While the room was fully reimagined, the existing shower arch was preserved. Aging plaster was removed and replaced with smooth drywall, and new custom casework and trim were introduced throughout. The radiator was re-designed with a new decorative grille to complement the updated design.
